Important information for emergencies and projects will be posted here in the future as needed.

The Village of Frankfort is developing its first Comprehensive Plan to help officials make policy and capital project decisions about the future of the community. An essential element of developing the Plan is gathering input from residents, business owners, and visitors. The following link directs you to the Village of Frankfort Comprehensive Plan project website where you will find the Community Survey and Interactive Map. The Community Survey responses will provide our Committee with direct input on important early questions in the planning process and contributions to the Interactive Map will give location-based context to issues and opportunities in the Village! More information and instructions are provided on the project website:

No one knows the community better than those who live and work there. We need your input to make sure this Comprehensive Plan is reflective of the wants and needs of the community. We will be collecting responses and comments through Friday, May 20, 2022. There will be other in-person and digital public feedback opportunities throughout the life of the project – this is just the beginning!

If you have any questions or comments contact Karlee Tamburro ( or Dan Theobald (

The Frankfort Fire Department is continuing its fund raising campaign for the Firefighters Memorials Park project. Although the park was officially dedicated on September 28th, 2008, funds are still needed for the maintenance, additional inscriptions, and future memorial plans.

The park is dedicated to those citizens who gave of themselves in the service of others. The vision is supported by all of the present and future inscriptions ... (the goal) is that we never forget those who proudly served their community.

Future plans for the park include: continuing inscriptions, additional stones, and a possible regional 9/11 memorial. Donations of any amount are accepted and memorial levels of inscriptions can be in honor or memory of any individual, family, or business. Donation envelopes are available at local churches, funeral homes, or the Village & Town of Frankfort municipal offices. You can also contact the Frankfort Fire Department via e-mail or phone.

Our goal is to make all past, present, and future citizens proud of this accomplishment, while honoring those who have made a sacrifice to make the park a reality. We hope to bring state and national notoriety to this memorial park. We are looking at all venues or ideas to accomplish this. We would like to thank all those who have made a sacrifice in support of the Memorial Park Fund.
