To Our Residents and Neighbors,
Welcome to our new website! We plan to be very active here moving forward, so please check back often for updates.
As we look back on the past year, I want to highlight some wonderful achievements. First, thank you for your patience during our construction season. The water main project is complete, with just a few yards scheduled for touch-ups. The bridge is also finished! Despite strict state regulations and simultaneous stream restoration, we completed the project only a week behind schedule. We also paved Main Street, which was desperately needed. For those on Grandview Avenue, please know we haven’t forgotten you—paving is scheduled to resume as soon as spring arrives.
Our community events were spectacular this year. The 5th Annual Frankfort Harborfest was a resounding success, featuring a beautiful new lighthouse constructed by our DPW and Power & Light crews. On 8/24, we welcomed the Flotsam River Circus to the marina. It was incredibly unique and brought out so many of you!! We also launched our First Annual Halloweentown Celebration, and it was a joy to see so many of you there.
While the snow arrived a little early, it set the perfect scene for "Christmas at the Marina." We were thrilled to bring back live reindeer this year! A huge shoutout goes to our crews at the DPW and Power & Light for their hard work on the decorations—especially our master welder, who created this year’s new sleigh centerpiece.
Huge shout-out to Austin Evanchak for another successful Metal At The Marina. This is a great family event that we look forward to having in the village for years to come. We have officially greenlit this for next year so be on the lookout for the date!
