The meeting was called to order at 6:30p.m. following Roll Call and the Pledge of Allegiance.
In Attendance: Ron Vivacqua, Starr Mizerak, Susan Chellino, Sid DeRollo, Mark Harris, Fred Krone and Jeff Tew.
OPEN FORUM:
- Mr. Jeff Tew, Property Manager of Gelston Castle Estates, is appearing to announce a Revolutionary War re-enactment that will be taking place at Gelston Castle in honor of the 235 Anniversary of the Battle of Oriskany.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Herkimer County Legislature is sponsoring a Senior Citizen Picnic and looking for donations to be used as prizes.
- Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce 44th Annual Membership Meeting
CONSULTANTS:
Fred Krone of GEMS appeared and updated the Board regarding projects that his organization is handling for the Village.

BUDGET OFFICER: Starr Mizerak
Trustees Spina and Adams were reached via conference call to hear discussion and vote on the budget.
Mayor Moracco explained the need for a 2% tax increase was the result of the lost revenue from the lower assessment of the Union Tools properties. The tax rate will go from $13.99 per thousand to $14.27; resulting in a .28 cent increase. $165,189.00 will be utilized from the fund balance to balance the General Budget.
It was recommended that a spending freeze be put into effect immediately.

Motion by Francis Spatol seconded by Anthony Fumarola to approve Resolution #31 to adopt the Budget for 2012-2013: General: $1,618,534.00 Water: $570,965.00 Sewer: $73,058.00 with individual roll being called for general, water and sewer. The tax rate will be $14.27 per thousand.
